I became interested in trying psychedelics after the birth of my second child. Unable to find anyone to guide me in Minnesota, I spent years reading and self-educating to learn how to safely have a journey on my own. My first experience with psilocybin was life changing, and had me proclaiming the exact opposite of what I had been taught while earning my psychology degree β€œThe subconscious is REAL!”  I have now worked with psilocybin, MDMA, and ayahuasca to heal from c-ptsd, body dysmorphia, disordered eating, and depression.

I began my professional career working as a researcher in a clinical psychology laboratory. I then focused on my interest in the arts, earning my MFA and working as a designer in NYC until I had my first child and wanted to return closer to family. I shifted into ux design, which landed me a job at a healthcare startup in Minneapolis. Within a few years I was leading a research team to improve member experiences with health insurance.

The depth of the problems I saw within the western medical system was severely contrasted with the deep healing and transformative work I was accomplishing with psychedelic medicines, often in the comfort of my own home. I now devote my time and energy to the democratization and demystification of psychedelic medicines in 1:1 coaching and guidance, writing, and in larger group classes.
